This program is scheduled to run from mid-October until June.
Registrating as a volunteer tutor requires a two and a half (2.5) hour weekly or bi-weekly commitment for at least one Winter/Fall session or school term (approx. 5 months). If you're still interested, but have any scheduling conflicts, please email us at UTMABDT@gmail.com to discuss potential alternative arrangements.

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most often taken for granted (The Hygiene Bank, n.d.). As a result, many people experiencing homelessness live with preventable health conditions that could have been avoided with regular access to proper hygiene and other basic needs (Simply The Basics, n.d.). To address this issue, consider donating new and unopened items such as:
Textured hair care products, hair care products for people of colour
Socks, Underwear, and Bras
Towels
Deodorant
Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash
Menstrual hygiene products, like pads, tampons, or cups
